Websites 101

The first baby steps that you need to take to start building your own websites.

The relevance of making websites is questioned by many in this age of Social Media. This beginner level course  answers all your questions about why you should create a personal (or business) website.

Then, we will take a look at the basic must-have software that we will be using to create websites – a domain name, the Divi theme and hosting with WPX.

Next, we will put all this together to get our first bare bones website online.
We will tinker with settings in the backend of the website and set things up, so that we can begin the process of creating a website.

Finally, we will do a basic introduction of how to use the Divi theme to create the home page and the menu bar of your website.
